Video
A film plays in the browser, and the same story renders to an MP4 with recit render. Both
paths read the same blocks, timing and themes, so a paused frame in the page is the frame of the
video. video.recit.dev leads here.
Bash
| Aspect | Size | Use |
|---|---|---|
16:9 | 1920 × 1080 | talks, pages, product videos |
1:1 | 1080 × 1080 | feeds |
9:16 | 1080 × 1920 | stories and shorts |
@recit/motion-render uses Remotion and a headless Chrome. It is an optional dependency, loaded on
demand: playing a film in a page never needs it.
Downloads
The MP4 files of the gallery are rendered in CI and attached to the site build when they exist.
No MP4 is attached to this build: videos are rendered in CI, never by the site build. Render one locally with recit render.
Read how to render, the options and the voice-over in the motion documentation.
